About Second Editions (the Friends of the Fargo Public Library Bookstore)
In 2009, the Friends of the Fargo Library opened a small bookstore on the first level of the Main Library in downtown Fargo. The bookstore is open to the public and features used books from the library and books and other media donated by the public. Proceeds go to support our funding of library programs throughout the year.
The store is open during regular library hours, staffed by volunteers. Stop in often and check out our monthly specials!
If you are interested in donating or volunteering, please call 701-364-2665.

How to Donate
We accept donations of used books and other media including DVDs, CDs, and audiobooks. Items may be brought to the Main Library during regular hours. Most types of children or adult books and media are welcome.
Please note that we are unable to accept mass market paperback, textbooks, magazines, encyclopedias older than one year, VHS tapes, cassettes and books that are damaged, smoke filled or moldy. Please call our Second Editions bookstore at 701-364-2665 before bringing any donations of three or more boxes.
Our volunteers are unable to help carry in donations, but a dolly will be available for your use.
